The Zuketsa Students' Union (ZSU) today organised a felicitation-cum-welcoming programme for new president of Chakhesang Students’ Union (CSU) Pfhülo Sara.

Sara has been elected as new president of CSU for the tenure of 2024-2026. Mikha Kenye, former president, Chakhesang Public Organization (CPO) was the main speaker of the felicitation programme.

"Let us look beyond our interest", he said, urging everyone to work for the common interest. He also stressed on the need to maintain unity among the people and to strive towards “what we can do for our community in the field of education.”

He also urged the Village Education Committee (VEC) to be vigilant with government education policy. Primary and elementary education should be given more attention, he opined.

“The good relationship between teachers, students, parents and community is required to reform the education system,” he added.

Further, he stressed that CSU should focus more on the welfare of the students rather than politics and other issues.
