One person was killed and 5 others were injured in a road accident in Dimapur late on the night of October 31. It was a collision between a Nagaland state government vehicle (NL 10 8701) and a dumper truck. According to the police, the collision occurred at 5th Mile around 11:30 pm. The vehicle (Mahindra Bolero) was proceeding towards Dimapur when it collided with the truck, which was reportedly emerging from an adjacent petrol pump. The Bolero had 6 occupants at the time of the mishap. The deceased victim, a 40 year-old woman, was brought dead to the hospital, the police informed. Among the injured, the condition of two, including the driver, was said to be critical.
