Dimapur, November 8 (MExN): At least19 new COVID-19 cases were detected in Nagaland on Sunday of which 17 were among traced contacts and one each from returnees and front line workers. The state’s total tally of infections now stands at 9,474. One more death was added to state’s tally of COVID-19 fatalities which is now at 40, the health department stated in its daily bulletin.
On the other hand, 101 COVID-19 recovery cases were recorded across the state. Dimapur saw 55 recoveries, Kohima 25, Mon 19 and Mokokchung and Peren recorded one each. With this, the total number of recoveries in the state is now at 8,350 and there are 985 active cases.
