10th International Plastics Exhibition from February 28

Guwahati, February 8 (MExN): The 10th edition of the International Plastics Exhibition, Indplas’25, is set to take place in Kolkata from February 28 to March 3, 2025. Organised by the Indian Plastics Federation (IPF), the exhibition is expected to be the largest sector-specific B2B event for the plastics industry in Eastern India.

Ashok Jajodia, Chairman of Indplas’25, highlighted that this year’s theme, “The Future is East”, reflects the immense potential for growth in the plastics sector in Eastern and North Eastern India.

Jajodia participated in an event organised at Hotel Vivanta in Guwahati on Friday to generate awareness and encourage participation from entrepreneurs and stakeholders in the region.

The enthusiasm among exhibitors has been overwhelming, with all available space being booked within just 45 days of online registration opening. There has been a strong response from both Indian and international manufacturers of machinery, raw materials, ancillary services, additives, and masterbatches. Exhibitors from more than ten countries, including Taiwan, China, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Germany, and the USA, have already confirmed their participation, making Indplas'25 a truly global event.

Major petrochemical producers such as Brahmaputra Gas & Cracker Ltd in Assam, Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd in West Bengal, and Indian Oil Corporation Ltd in Odisha are expected to play a key role in supplying raw materials to the industry.

Indplas'25 will showcase the latest innovations and technologies in the plastics sector, with a particular focus on sustainability, business expansion, and investment opportunities. Over 400 exhibitors will be participating, and more than 1.5 lakh visitors are expected to attend during the four-day event.

Speaking about the significance of the exhibition, Jajodia further stated that Indplas'25 will serve as a platform for business collaboration and investment in the region.

Lalit Agrawal, President of the Indian Plastics Federation, reiterated the Federation’s commitment to advancing the plastics industry.
