Kohima, March 3 (DIPR): The Governor of Nagaland Nikhil Kumar has dissolved the Eleventh Nagaland Legislative Assembly in accordance to sub-clause (b) of clause (2) of Article 174 read with clause (1) of Article 172 of the Constitution of India with immediate effect. The Twelfth Nagaland Legislative Assembly has been subsequently constituted by a notification of the Election Commission of India. The notification was handed over personally to the Governor of Nagaland by the Secretary, Election Commission of India, Anuj Jaipuriar on March 3, 2013. The Secretary ECI was accompanied by officials from the ECI, CEO Nagaland and other officials of the State Government.
