DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 13 (MExN): 123 new positive cases of COVID-19 were detected in Nagaland on October 13. Health Minister, Pangnyu Phom informed that of the cases detected on Tuesday, 66 are from Dimapur, 37 from Kohima, 19 from Mokokchung, and 1 from Mon. Of the new cases today, 26 are from the armed forces/security personnel, 9 are returnees/travelers, 85 are traced contacts and 3 are frontline workers. Meanwhile 16 more patients have recovered from the infection.
They include 14 from Dimapur and 2 from Mon. The total number of cases in the State now stands at 7363 while the number of active cases is at 1,505. As per the severity of symptoms, 1,445 active cases are asymptomatic, 46 active cases are mild, 10 active cases are moderate, 1 active case is severe, 1 active case is with oxygen and 2 active cases are on ventilators.
