Dimapur, January 3 (MExN): 173 Bn CRPF based at Airfield, Dimapur celebrated the New Year 2021 at their Battalion Headquarters on January 1 with an all-day programme.
According to updates, the celebration began with the Commandant’s Darbar wherein Sh Vishnu Gautam, CO, addressed all rank and files stressing on the need to maintain discipline and probity in all walks of life.
In the afternoon, a colourful cultural programme showcasing the unity and diversity of the country with a ‘modern touch’ was organized and meritorious personnel were also awarded attractive prizes.
The celebration concluded with a feast wherein all personnel along with their families also attended, the updates informed.
