MOKOKCHUNG, MAY 19 (MExN): An excavator (JCB) and an ambulance provisioned by the sitting MLA & Advisor, Tongpang Ozukum of the 24 Angetyongpang A/C was dedicated at his residence on Friday by Chuchu Town Baptist Church, Pastor, Rev Temjen.
Speaking on the occasion, Advisor, Water Resources, Tongpang Ozukum stated that the excavator (JCB) and the ambulance were the aspiration of the people of the Angetyongpang A/C and so called on them to care for it as their own.
He said that the excavator would be managed by a dedicated A/C committee while the ambulance would at a very nominal price for Angetyongpang. Tongpang was optimistic that such minimal gesture of welfare by the collective people would go a long way to develop the constituency.
Earlier short speeches were delivered by 24 AC NDPP vice president, Dr Imtinungba and Alempang Ward chairman, Lemasashi. The function was chaired by 24 AC NDPP president, Nungshimayang and invocation by T Anungla.
