Dimapur, June 15 (MExN): A total of 240 players participated in the Dimapur District Taekwondo Championship organised by the Dimapur District Taekwondo Association (DDTA) at the Multi-Disciplinary Sports Complex near DC Court Junction.
The championship witnessed participation from taekwondo athletes across various age groups and weight categories, with competitors vying for top honours and qualification to the state-level tournament.
According to the organisers, gold medallists from the district championship have been selected to represent Dimapur at the 36th Nagaland State Taekwondo Championship, scheduled to be held from July 28 to 30 at IG Stadium, Kohima.
