The 25th anniversary edition of the NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy 2025 under the theme “Goal for Peace” is scheduled for September 13 to October 18. The trophy tour kick-off event will take place on March 20 at NSF Martyrs’ Park, Kohima.

On the same day, the Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) will observe Martyrs’ Day at 9:00 AM to honor the sacrifices of late Kekuojalie Sachü and late Vikhozo Yhoshü. This  announcement was made here today during a press briefing at Hotel Japfü, Kohima  led by Medo Yhokha (Chairman, Steering Committee), Neizokhotuo Belho (Secretary, Steering Committee), Kenilo Kent (NSF Assistant General Secretary), Khrielievi Chüsi (Co-Chairman, Steering Committee), Khriesamhalie Mere (President, Angami Students’  Union) and Kelhouneizo Yhome (Member, Steering Committee).

The total prize money for the tournament has been increased to Rs 20 lakh from Rs18 lakh.The organizers are expecting both national and international teams, making this a proud moment for Nagaland’s sports community.

The organizer hoped that the 25th anniversary edition will bring positive change to the sports scenario in the state.

They also urged the government to invest in sports infrastructure, particularly in turf grounds, as there are currently very few available.

The 25th anniversary edition of the NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy will be held at Indira Gandhi Stadium Kohima and Chumoukedima Stadium.
