Ahthibung, March 16 (MExN): The 2nd Open Inter CGKCK Futsal & Volleyball Tourney was held from March 12 to 15 at the CSA Playground, Ahthibung Town, Peren.
The four-days tournament witnessed an impressive participation of more than 70 teams and clubs from Baptist Youth Endeavour, Kuki Christian Khangthah, and youth from various churches in and around Jalukie and Ahthibung Subdivision of Peren District.
In the Men’s Volleyball category, Hitman from Jalukie emerged as the champions, while Fly High secured the runners-up position. The Women’s Volleyball title was claimed by KCK Vongkithem, with Flying Ace Ahthibung finishing as runners-up.
In the Futsal category, Iron Giants from Ahthibung took home the top honors, while Bongkolong YSU finished as runners-up.
The tournament was dedicated by Rev. Nehlal Simte, Secretary CGKCC, who emphasized the importance of glorifying God in everything we do, as reflected in the tournament’s theme, “Glorify God in Everything” (1 Cor. 10:31).
The closing prayer was led by Pro. Pastor Paotinlun Hangsing, who blessed the participants, organizers, and spectators, and encouraged everyone to continue striving for excellence in all areas of life.
The organizing committee expressed their gratitude to all well-wishers, prize donors, participating teams, and KCK Ahthibung for their invaluable support in making the tournament a success.
The 2nd Open Inter CGKCK Futsal & Volleyball Tourney was organized as part of the preparations for the Inter CGKCK Conference 2026.
