ZUNHEBOTO, DECEMBER 19 (MExN): State Executive Member, Nagaland State BJP, Hukiye N Tissicca inaugurated the office of the 34 A/C Aghunato BJP Mandal Office during his tour of Zunheboto district on December 15.
Speaking on the occasion, Hukiye, who is the BJP intending candidate, 34 Assembly Constituency Aghunato, reiterated that BJP is not a religious party but a political party that is working tirelessly for transformation of the country and is equally committed for the development and welfare of the people of Nagaland. It is a party that works for all, to bring up the downtrodden and lesser privileged, he added.
He said in the 75 years of Indian independence, this BJP government at the centre, led by Narendra Modiji is one government that has given equal importance to each and every single citizen of this democratic nation and has brought drastic change to the nation in terms of development and progress of the people and the nation as a whole in all aspects.
He outlined whole lot of direct benefits of the people ranging from distribution of free rice grains, free cooking gas connection, welfare of the poor farmers, the facility for every citizen to avail free and best of free medical treatment which etc have reached home and the number of developmental activities which are taking place in the state through the state government. The Bharatiya Janata Party will not rest here but shall go on to do more and more in the days to come, he said.
He stated that the people of Aghunato Assembly Constituency are also an integral part of the governance of the state and the country at large and they must not miss out to capitalise on the benefits initiated by the BJP led central government which has reached even to the remotest region of the country. He said the people of Aghunato assembly constituency must also pave way to usher in more of such benefits.
He maintained that establishing the BJP Mandal office, 34 Assembly Constituency, Aghunato was not for the selfish interest of the party but to primarily work for the welfare and progress of the people and the party at all cost shall strive for the people, while assuring that Aghunato will not be left behind. He urged upon the people of Aghunato to support the party in its sincere effort to uplift the people.
On behalf of the people of Aghunato assembly constituency, Hukiye thanked the party for its concern for the people and assured full cooperation of the people for strengthening the party. Other prominent leaders of BJP including Mahila and Yuva morcha in the district also spoke on the occasion and voiced out the unity of the party in the district.
President of ATPU, Pastor Atovi Chophy proposed the dedicatory prayer for the office.
