Kisama, December 5 (MExN): The Tati Group Enterprise organised the 3rd Hornbill Benchrest Air Rifle Shooting Competition at Touphema Village, Kohima on December 3.
The precihole Sports India Thane, Maharashtra the Number One Rifle manufacturers in India has sponsored the prize for .177 Indian Category and also displayed the products during the Competition.
In the open category, the distance was 50 meters, 75 meters and 100 meters.
HenbenImlong won the championship with 291 points and walked away with a cash prize of Rs 55,000, Echenjang bagged 1st runners up with 286 points and cash prize of Rs 35,000, Khriesanyü bagged 2nd runners up with 238 points and cash prize of Rs 20,000.
Two times Defending champion Kezhaletuo Kire could not retain his title For the .177 open category, the distance shots were 25 meters, 35 meters and 50 meters respectively, where Neizo Belho took the championship with 285 pts and walked away with a cash prize of Rs 35,000 Echenjang bagged 1st runners up with 285 points along with cash prize of Rs 20,000 and Khriesanyü Miachieo bagged 2nd runners up with 279 pts and cash prize of Rs 15,000; KeneizetuoKhro 2nd runners up scoring 288 points walk away with cash prize of Rs 7000 along with 2 tin's of .177 round head pellets.
Kevilezo Kense class 1 contractor graced the prize distribution ceremony. The participants displayed excellent marksmanship and skills during the competition, stated a DIPR report.
