Kohima, July 24 (MExN): The Kohima District Football Association (KDFA) under the aegis of Nagaland Football Association (NFA) is organizing 3rd Kohima District Grassroot championship 2026 on July 25 at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima.
Altogether, 32 teams have confirmed their participation for this one day tournament.
Roko Angami, OSD (Sports), Department of Youth Resources & Sports, Nagaland will grace the opening ceremony as the special guest at 9:00 AM.
The inaugural programme will be chaired by Ngurieno (Regina) Chasie, Women Coordinator, KDFA.
Welcome address will be delivered by M Mathew Yhome President, KDFA
The closing function have been schedule at 3:30 PM with Kevineiii Sekhose, Councillor, KMC Ward No. 10 as the guest of honour.
Medolenuo Loucii, Press Secretary, KDFA will compere the programme.
Vote of thanks will be proposed by Metekhrielie Mejura, Finance Secretary, KDFA.
