With 42 new cases reported on December 12, the total number of COVID-19 cases in Nagaland went up to 11,676. According to an update from State Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom, out of the 42 new cases, 18 were in Dimapur, 10 in Kohima, 7 in Kiphire, 4 in Mokokchung and 2 in Peren. The State also registered 64 recoveries on Saturday, taking the tally of recoveries to 10,876. With this, the number of active cases was 607.
