
Kiphire, February 7 (MExN): 7 Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarters Inspector General Assam Rifles (North) organized a medical camp and free health checkup at Akhegwo village in Kiphire district on February 5.
A press release from Assam Rifles informed that 472 patients comprising 245 males, 185 females and 42 children were given treatment during the camp.
The local administration also helped in the camp with two civil doctors attending to the patients along with the Medical Officer of the AR battalion. The Commandant, 7 Assam Rifles also interacted with the village GBs and other local authorities present who shared their problems. The Commandant promised them help in every possible way to solve their problems, the release stated.
