5 new COVID-19 cases in Nagaland

Dimapur, March 3 (MExN): Five cases of COVID-19 were reported in Nagaland on March 3 out of 267 samples tested. Among the new cases were four were from armed forces/security personnel while one was a traced contact. All new cases were reported from Kohima. The Health Department’s daily bulletin informed that the total caseload in the State remains at 12,205. With 11,949 patients recovering from the infection, the State now has 12 active cases. The death toll remains at 81 with 10 other deaths that were categorized as ‘not COVID related’ after review by the State COVID Death Review Committee. As per the bulletin, all 12 cases are asymptomatic. 11 of the active cases were from Kohima while one was from Dimapur.
