Dimapur, November 4 (MExN): 56 new COVID-19 cases were reported in Nagaland on Wednesday taking the toll to 9,207.
As per an update from State Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom, out of the 56 cases, Dimapur accounted for 27 while Kohima reported 24. Mon and Tuensang had 2 cases each and Phek reported 1 case.
Meanwhile, 148 recoveries were also registered on November 4, according to the Minister’s update.
The Nagaland COVID-19 bulletin issued by the State Health and Family Welfare department informed that as on November 4, the total number of recoveries was 7,934 while active COVID-19 cases was 1,143.
The total number of deaths in the State has also increased to 38, with 6 more deaths categorized as ‘not COVID related’ and 3 deaths under investigation.
