DIMAPUR, DECEMBER 13 (MExN): The Kuki Baptist Association Youth Department (KBAYD) held its 67th General Conference and Cultural Events at Sirhima Village under Medziphema Sub-division from December 10 to 12 under the theme ‘Be Reconciled.’ It was hosted by the Baptist Youth Endeavour (BYE), Sirhima.
During the three-day program, NBCC Youth Secretary, Rev Vikuo Rhi and former KBAYD Youth Secretary, Tracey Kipgenwere as the main speakers.
Earlier, dedication of the 67th General Conference KBAYD was done by KBAN Executive Secretary, Rev Lamkhotong Singson; while a candle light vigil service in honour of the innocent civilians killed at Oting Village, Mon District was also held.
Ichthus Worship Team led the praise and worship. Cultural dance competition, traditional games & sports and folk song competition were also held. The programme ended with a closing prayer which was pronounced by KBAN Executive Secretary, Rev Lamkhotong Singson.
Around 250 delegates from 9 units of KBA Churches from Kohima, Dimapur and Peren District attended the conference.
