8 get ticket for ‘Kids for Fame’ season 3’ via Kohima audition

Altogether, eight kids received tickets for the next round of ‘Kids for Fame’ season 3’ via Kohima audition held here for Kohima and Wokha districts.
The eight contestants who came through the Kohima audition are Zuchobeni Tungoe (contestant No 11), Waben M. Humtsoe (contestant No 12), Onensangla (contestant No 13), Tohuvi V. Kiho (contestant No 14), Vilnu Sharon Kin (contestant No 15), Keneithounuo Dzüvichü (contestant No 16), Keneizenuo Kire (contestant No 17) and Methse-ü (contestant No 18).
The Kohima Audition was managed by Kohima district partner Synergy Group Enterprise (SGE) and took place at Season Café.
‘Kids for Fame’ is a popular singing contest for kids aged between 10 to 17 years, which was initiated in 2007 by Pheto Music Associations. It has gained popularity during the last two seasons (2007 and 2009).
The contest aims to provide opportunities for upcoming talents to expose and promote to a higher level in music & entertainment industry and also to help them to continue to carry on their professional future career.
According to the organizers, the selected singers  will be trained by professional musicians to go for the next round to be held in August.
After the eliminations, the top 12 will be selected by the panel of judges and the public will choose the top six contestants; after which only three finalists will be chosen for the ultimate winner of Kids for Fame Season 3, 2011.
The cash prize stands at Rs. 2 lakh plus 1 year educational scholarship. The grand finale will be held in October 2011.
