Bhandari, September 11 (MExN): The Additional Deputy Commissioner, Bhandari has issued an order on September 8 for revised the rate of the following items:
• Piglets (two months) – Rs 3500
• Chicken (local) - Rs 400 per kg
• Chicken (broiler) – Rs 160 per kg
• Fish (margur) - Rs 210 per kg
• Daily wages (skilled) - Rs 550 per day
• Unskilled (men) - Rs 400 per day
• Unskilled (women) - Rs 350 per day
The order also stated that non-compliance of the above rates shall be penalized with the sum of 1000 for the first offences and Rs 1500 for the 2nd offences and 3rd time offences, shop permit will be cancelled without any further notice. Head Dobashi was directed to conduct surprise checking from time to time to enforce the fixed rates of various items and also to check the expired items/goods.
The mention rates and prices are subject to revision or review from time to time, the ADC informed.
Shops running without proper permits have been given 15 days from the date of issue of this order to get shops registered/avail permit from the authority, shops including pharmacies should not charge price of commodities/products above the MRP.
All shops under Bhandari town have been directed to display shop permit and rates chart in their respective shops.
