Pughoboto, November 18 (MExN): In the interest of public health and safety and in order to prevent and control the spread of COVID-19 at Pughoboto sub-division, ADC Pughoboto, ThungchanbemoTungoe has informed that the Sub-Divisional Task Force Pughoboto has notified and enforced the following guidelines for strict compliance with immediate effect:
• All drivers/passengers of public and private transport, all customers entering/RB Pughoboto Branch and all teaching/non-teaching staff of government and private schools must produce a copy of vaccination certificate with at least 1 dose shown in the SMS or a copy of negative COVID-19 test done not more than 72 hours ago. Without these documents, no drivers/passengers will be allowed to travel and no person staff will be allowed to enter banks or institutions.
• All shops/hotels/salons/workshops etc within Pughoboto Sub-Division must produce COVID-19 vaccination certificates without which they will not be allowed to open their business establishments.
• All government employees/staff in the sub-division will be required to be vaccinated to attend offices.
• AM Religious Leaders are advised to get themselves vaccinated in the interest and safety of all.
The ADC Pughoboto has therefore, informed all concerned to get vaccinated on or before November 30. “Failing which they will be required to produce COVID-19 negative test report by getting tested every 15 days through either RT-PCR/TrueNAT/CBNAAT on self-payment basis as per the Government approved rates,” he added.
