Zunheboto, September 18 (MExN): The newly constructed office building of the Akuluto SDO (E) at Akuluto town was formally inaugurated by Executive Engineer (E), Shiludi Longkumer, Zunheboto on September 18.
The office has been functioning on a private rented house since its inception in 1986 and after almost 35 years, Akuluto SDO (E) has a new office now.
Addressing the formal gathering, the Executive Engineer (E) thanked the department Head Office, the Engineer-In-Chief and the Chief Engineer (D&R) for taking an important step while procuring a house for the smooth functioning of the department by providing important accessories to run the office. While reminding for stable supply of power to the area and to improve the collection in revenue matters, he urged the SDO (E) and his team to put more effort in their duty.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Akuluto, Imsenperong Wati who attended the inaugural programme appreciated the department on various activities and urged the department to work for the people and for the upliftment of the societies in general.
The function was attended by all heads of the various departments under Akuluto Subdivision.
The programme was chaired by Akuluto SDO (E), Er Chutsusie Thowachu. Invocation prayer was pronounced by Pastor SBAA, Jasper Achumi while vote of thanks was delivered by Er Ongathung Ovung, JE (E), Akuluto.
