AGRiPACTS 2022 in Sikkim on May 26-27 

Medziphema, May 7 (MExN): A two-day national conference on ‘AgriStartUps - Prospects, Challenges, Technologies and Strategies’ (AGRiPACTS 2022) is scheduled to be held in Manan Kendra, Gangtok, Sikkim on May 26 and 27. 

It is organized by the Agri-Business Incubation (ABI) Centre & Zonal Technology Management Unit (ZTMU) of ICAR Research Complex NEH Region, Meghalaya in collaboration with its Sikkim Regional Centre, APEDA, GoI; Sikkim Organic Mission (SOM), Government of Sikkim and Manipur Organic Mission Agency (MOMA), Government of Manipur.

A press release received here stated that the conference will be held with an aim to bring together all stakeholders covering researchers, incubators, policymakers, agripreneurs, startups, agro-industries, corporate bodies, investors, extension functionaries, students and other partners from around the country to present and share their innovations, views, expertise and experience on agribusiness and agripreneurship. 

Renowned experts, business incubators, investors and agripreneurs from all over the country are expected to participate in the said event. One B2B Meet will also be organized as an integral part of the said event. 

The conference is expected to offer a unique opportunity for bringing business partnership, convergence, linkage, institute support mechanism, meeting other StartUps and Agripreneurs and an open playground to network and collaborate in a high energy interactive environment. After the conference, ICAR is planning to bring out a comprehensive roadmap for promoting agri-business ventures in Northeast India.
