AKM warns Govt on EAC posting

Dimapur, August 9 (MExN): The Ao students’ community today denounced yet another of the state government’s trashy decision to reserve a significant 10 Extra Assistant Commissioner posts for ten Naga tribes in the Nagaland Public Service Commission. The Ao students have demanded the government to revoke its  decision immediately.
The Ao Students’ Conference (AKM) called the decision “inefficient” and “unethical” and strongly warned Nagaland government that if that state Cabinet is trying to ‘drive their special recruitment vehicle on right side of the road’ then “their will be total chaos since it is illegal to drive on the right side.”
“The Ao Students’ Conference is totally against in regard to the state  Cabinet decision to reserve 10 EAC post for ten Naga tribes through NPSC which is totally against the wishes and aspiration of the remaining deprived  Naga tribes,” the AKM stated in a press release, appended by its president N Akok Lkr and assistant general secretary Walu Jamir.
Echoing common sentiments, the  Ao students questioned the Nagaland government whether the State took into consideration the situation of the educated unemployed youth before taking their inefficient decision.
“…the State Cabinet have to take note that the special recruitment drive policy itself is illegal, since its not under the preview of the reservation policy. The Ao Students’ Conference (AKM) demands the state cabinet to revoke their unethical decision without any further delay,” the AKM stated in its press release.
“Lastly the AKM would like to caution the state government ‘if the state Cabinet is trying to drive their special recruitment policy vehicle on right side of the road for time being, then there will be total chaos since it is illegal to drive on the right side.”
