Akuluto, November 27 (MExN): Nagaland's advisor for Civil Administration Works Division (CAWD) and Taxes, Kudecho Khamo, inaugurated the Additional Deputy Commissioner’s Office Complex at Akuluto Town in the presence of Advisor Kazheto Kinimi on November 27.
Highlighting that India as a nation is resolute in achieving Viksit Bharat—meaning “Developed India”—by 2047, Khamo stated that Nagaland is also working in that direction. He emphasized the need to develop Akuluto, Zunheboto, and Nagaland as a whole, beginning at the level of each family and individuals, requiring collective and participatory efforts to work with the government.
Reiterating his initiative for the Chozuba Assembly Constituency—One Family, One Project; One Family, One Entrepreneur; and One Family, One Prayer—he urged the 17 villages and two towns under the Akuluto constituency to join the movement for “One Village, One Crop,” which the government is promoting to realise the full economic potential and growth of the region through the Agri and Allied strengths of the people.
To achieve this, he stressed the need for government officials, public leaders, and Church leaders to spread the message and disseminate the initiative to the grassroots.
Pointing out that the Chakhesang–Sumi brotherhood is not based on any human reasoning but is divinely ordained; Khamo emphasized the need for the younger generation to strengthen this bond and uphold its spirit to move forward.
Furthermore, the Advisor noted that there are many government buildings under construction, which may not be possible to complete all at once, but assured that the government will take them up at all levels in a phase-wise manner.
Additionally, Khamo urged the public to treat the newly inaugurated office building as public property and called for collective responsibility to care for and safeguard the facility.

He said the new office stands as a symbol of progress for the people of the region, adding that such infrastructure will enhance administrative efficiency, strengthen governance, and open wider avenues for growth.
