Dimapur, August 7 (MExN): On August 8, Mobile unit of DEF, Kohima while conducting MVCP at High Court junction, Meriema, Kohima recovered 14 cases of MC rum and 1 case of Kingfisher beer from two persons identified as Kanga (26) and Lucy (25). In this connection, a case was registered at North PS for conducting further investigation, Addl. Superintendent of Police in a release informed.
Again on the same day at around 3:00 pm, Mobile unit while conducting MVCP at 10 Mile, Zhadima road intercepted one maruti bearing registration number AS-01S-0844 and recovered 4 cases of IMFL and 800 bottles of banned cough syrup concealed in the vehicle. Accordingly, the accused identified as Shunato Zhimo (25) along with the seized items was handed over to Chiephobozou PS for conducting further investigation.
