All Nagaland Taxi Association Mokokchung (ANTAM) felicitated Tsuwanaro Jamir, HSLC 20th rank holder from Queen Mary Higher Secondary School at Majakong Ward Community Hall, Mokokchung on June 18.
Tsuwanaro Jamir received a sum of Rs 10,000 and a certificate from the Union. ANTAM honors the children of its members who secure ranks in the HSLC and HSSLC examinations every year.
Tsüwanaro while accepting her award said that achieving the Top 20 rank in the HSLC examination was her dream which she set even as a small girl. She thanked God for and her parents for leading her and supporting her at all times. She also said that wealth is very important for a family but it is more important to carry the burden of their children to God.
K Tongpang, President, ANTAM said that from among the 2021 toppers in Nagaland, three were taxi drivers children and Tsuwanaro was one among them from Mokokchung. Kumlong Baptist Church Pastor, Dr Zülu Jamir, pronounced the special prayer for the topper. He congratulated the topper and said that her achievement will be an inspiration for the other taxi drivers children.
Tsüwanaro Jamir from Longkong village and is daughter of Alemkika and Moainla. She aims to become a Professor in the future.
