KT Sukhalu, Advisor for School Education with Hosheto Achumi and others during the lying of foundation stone for construction of Government Higher Secondary School, Zunheboto on October 6.
Zunheboto, October 6 (MExN): The foundation stone for construction of Government Higher Secondary School, Zunheboto was laid by KT Sukhalu, Advisor for School Education, Nagaland on October 6.
The Advisor will provide the resources while Hosheto Achumi, who is a contractor, will look after the construction work. Both Sukhalu and Achumi are alumni of the school.
While addressing the function, the Advisor reminded that education is the most important for the youth. He encouraged the parents to give less importance materialistic things and start investing more on education.
He requested the civil organization to help the government attain better education system by doing their responsibility such as stopping proxy system and checking irregularities of teachers. He also informed that some teachers are serving in two schools and they would start terminating such teachers.
The Advisor also asserted that he would “try the best to bring resources and in within two years they would see the building built.”
Earlier, the programme was chaired by Kikhevi Yeptho, vote of thanks was proposed by Caroline, Vice Principal while invocation and benediction was pronounced by Rev Dr S Yevito Sumi, Sr Pastor SBCZ. The programme was attended by civil societies including Sumi Hoho, Sumi Totimi Hoho, ZAPO, ZRSU and GB Association.
