Ambulance service for Chümou area launched

Dimapur, June 7 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner Dimapur, Rajesh Soundararajan officially launched the ambulance service at Chümoukedima Town Council (CTC) on June 7. 

During the launching programme, a DIPR report stated that the DC Dimapur acknowledged CTC for coming up with the noble initiative and managing to set up an ambulance service in such a short notice. He thanked Altrura Society for their generosity and Little Hut for coming forward to collaborate with CTC. He hoped that the ambulance service will go a long way in serving the people of Chümoukedima area. 

The DC Dimapur also reiterated that the District Task Force is doing its best to ensure that all citizens not just Dimapur town but the entire district, be it rural or urban have access to good health care and medical facilities.  

The old ambulance was donated by Altrura Society to be used during the pandemic. According to EAC and CTC Administrator, Er Seyiekhrietuo Solo minor repairs including building a partitioning wall for driver safety was done with the help of 4×4 Attitude and Chümoukedima Chamber Commerce and Trade Association donated brand new tires and Town Baptist Church Chümoukedima also donated towards the cause. Little Hut, a delivery service provider came forward to collaborate with CTC in managing the ambulance service.
