Mon, September 29 (MExN): Anaemia Screening Camp organised by the Department of Social Welfare Mon in collaboration with Health & Family Welfare Department was held at District Programme Officer (ICDS) Office, Mon on September 28.
The medical team was led by Pongjei Konyak, Block Programme Manager, CMO office Mon was accompanied by two ANMs.
A short program was held before the screening camp led by Y.Tauhong Ngonyen DPO, Mon and where BMP briefed the participants about the cause of Anemia and the importance of Hemoglobin test.
Altogether 47 adolescent girls participated the camp for screening, from Anganwadi Centres under Mon Block. The program was organised by the Block Convergence Action Plan Committee under the aegis of Rashtriya Poshan Abhiyaan.
