Tuensang, July 2 (MExN): Atma Nirbhar Bharat (ANB) Free Ration distribution scheme launched at GHSS Auditorium, Tuensang on July 2 by Deputy Commissioner Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant.


 
ANB is a scheme which provides 5kg of rice per head and one Kg of Chaana per family per month for stranded migrant workers/labours by Department of Food and Civil Supplies. 

 

DC Tuensang in his remark once again called upon all to follow social distancing, use masks and practise hand washing so that we can all together defeat the COVID 19. Tuensang has COVID positive cases which are all under COVID care facilities and we shall all cooperate and help ourself fight not to let it spread in the community level, he added. 

 

Under ANB 356 beneficiaries for the month of May and June 2020 were covered in the first phase and the second phase is on scrutiny phase which may come up to 1000 beneficiaries, the Department updated.
