Author N Talitemjen Jamir’s book ‘Anempong Leaves’ being released by Pastor N Lipok Jamir in presence of relatives and friends on November 15.
DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 16 (MExN): ‘The Anempong Leaves’: The story of Dr EW Clark and Jongshinokdang’ authored by retired civil servant, N Talitemjen Jamir was released on November 15 with a dedicatory prayer by N Lipok Jamir, Pastor of Diphupar Ao Baptist Church.
The book explains the dark period of pre Christian era in Ao country and how Rev Dr Clark “worked hard to rescue the perishing souls in later part of 19th century in Ao region.”
In calculating his age, the author said that the book would be his last publication in his life time and expressed gratitude to Prof Akok Walling for his support in bringing out the book in English version and shared his happiness with everyone present.
The book was first published in Ao in 2014.
