ANIEF installs new office-bearers

Kohima, May25 (MExN): The All Nagaland Industrial Entrepreneurs' Federation (ANIEF) has selected a new team of office-bearers to lead the federation for the next five years  from 2022 to 2027, a press release informed. 

The new team were unanimously selected during the ANIEF’s general meeting held at Conference Hall of the State Red Cross Complex, Kohima on May 25. 

The team will be headed by Khezheto Chishi as President, Vesusa Tetseo as Vice- President, Nchum Jamio as General Secretary, Narsen Yanthan as Secretary, Er Vitoshe K Rochill as Treasurer, and Povotso Lohe as Legal Advisor.  

The meeting also resolved that the remaining posts of office-bearers shall be filled up in the next general body meeting of the Federation, informed the release from the ANIEF.

Meanwhile, at the meeting, the outgoing President Povotso Lohe highlighted the circumstances leading to the formation of ANIEF on December 10, 2010 and its efforts since 2022 to pursue the claims of Central Transport Subsidy (CTS) and Central Capital Investment Subsidy (CCIS) under pending cases in respect of Nagaland State for the period 2007, 2008 and 2009 under the Union Ministry of Commerce & Industry, the release said. 

In another resolution the House dissolved the Action Committee of ANIEF constituted on November 21, 2014 for pursuing CTS and CCIS pending cases and authorised the new office-bearers to reconstitute the same "as and when necessity arises." 

Handing over and taking over of charges among the office-bearers were also done during the general meeting, it added.
