Mokokchung, October 3 (MExN): The Federal Council of the Ao Senden has reaffirmed as well as adopted various resolutions concerning the Naga Political issue during its meeting held on October 2.
Among others, the Council resolved to uphold the stance made by 14 Naga tribes on Naga political issue till the end and to take part in the process if a permanent solution is achieved, a press release issued by Ao Senden President Chubawati Longchar and Secretary Imtipokyim informed.
The meeting also resolved that appropriate action would be initiated if any group or individual goes against its decision on the Naga political issue.
The apex Ao organisation further resolved that if any harm befalls on any leader or member of the community on matter related to Naga political issue, it would seek justice till the end.
Meanwhile, the Federal Council meeting also reaffirmed some other resolutions taken by the Senden earlier concerning Naga political talks.
It included a memo given to the Ato Kilonser NSCN/GPRN on August 22, 2015 regarding an “Honourable and Acceptable solution.”
The Senden further reaffirmed the decision taken by the Federal Council on September 24, 2019 which resolved to take part in the peace process along with 14 Naga tribes.
According to the release, the meeting further reaffirmed a December 5, 2019 resolution that no group or individual from the community should interfere in the process where the Ao Senden is taking part.
The meeting also reaffirmed the caution issued by Ao Senden with regard to taking part in the Naga Political talks without its permission.
