Dimapur, August 3 (MExN): An infuriated Angami Public Organization (APO) today served a “last warning” to one Sazo Zumvu “chairman, self-styled Naga united village” to vacate Intangki National Park within seven days of this notice or face ‘necessary action’ against him.
The APO issued a letter today addressed to the said Zumvu stating that the APO is “embarrassed and ashamed” at “you being an Angami calling yourself chairman of Naga united village spearheading the encroachers, without legal and ethical validity and legitimacy.”
“You are aware that serious warnings were already been served to you, to immediately stop this illegal intrusion and encroachment to the priceless Intangki National Park by our Tenyimi People’s Organization however you have never paid any head,” the APO stated in its letter. The APO said there is no question of a village “being here” at the park as a result of an official resolution by the Angami or the Nagas.
The letter stated – “The APO of all the Angamis has nothing to do whatsoever in this criminal intrusion and claim of establishing a Naga United Village in the national park, without legal validity which is an alien culture to the Angamis and thereby tarnishing the good image of the Angamis in particular and Nagas in general.”
“As a last warning, you are hereby asked to vacate Intangki National Park within seven days of this notice, failing which the APO shall take appropriate necessary action against you,” the organization added in its letter.
