Apollo hospitals to conduct free health screening camp in Mkg

Apollo Hospitals, Guwahati under the aegis of Ao Senden will be conducting a free health screening camp at Imkongliba Memorial District Hospital (IMDH), Mokokchung in commemoration of Apollo Day. 

Addressing a press conference held in Hotel Metsuben, Mokokchung on 19 May, representatives from the event organizing partner for the health camp, North East Health Service informed media person that specialized doctors for cardiology, neurosurgery, gastroenterology, and pediatrics will be available at the health camp. 

The doctors for the health camp will include Dr Siddhartha Goswami, medicine department, critical care expert, Dr Shameem Ahmed, neurosurgery; Dr Chandra Kr Das, Cardiology, Dr Javiya Chetan Dineshbhai, Paediatric,  Dr Pankaj Sukla Baidya, gastroenterology.

North East Health Service is an organisation that guides and assists patient from any part of the Northeast states with their medical journey. They are approved by the Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of Nagaland. 

The services they provide are transportation, food and lodging, personal assistant, doctor's appointment, sample and report collection, consulting by senior panel of doctors, further medical referral assistance, city tour and recreation.

Besides the health screening, there will be Basic Life Savers Training for police personnels, fire department, Assam Rifles etc. and Continuous Medical Education (CME) for doctors.
