
DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 5 (MExN): The Council of Nagalim Churches (CNC) has stated that it was happy to learn that the Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR) was meeting on September 8, 2011 for reconciliation work and also the Government of India and the NSCN would be meeting shortly for political talks. This was stated in a press note issued by Vaison Vemai Vice President CNC. Pointing out that it was the aspiration of all the Naga people that different political groups should be reconciled in the name of God and united around Christ, the CNC stated that Nagas should “work together for the liberation of Nagalim and for His glory”. On behalf of the CNC and all the members of NSCN, the press note requested “all the people of Nagalim and all those people who are concerned about peace in Nagalim” to pray for the FNR meeting to be held on September 8, 2011 and the political talks to be held very soon.
