Zunheboto, March 3 (MExN): Minister for Agriculture & Cooperation, G Kaito Aye inaugurated the approach road from Ampho Zhukhi to Phitoqa at Mishilimi village on March 3.
A DIPR report stated that at the inaugural function held at the local ground, Mishilimi, Minister Kaito called upon the people of Aphuyemi to be the real pioneers of Sumi and to maintain unity to bring development in their area.
Seeing the sub-division progressing in the field of agriculture, the Minister urged upon them to work hard to bring more opportunities and expand the Agri projects in the area.
He also promised to “fulfill the need of the Mishilimi in the field of economic development and to look into the matter regarding the memorandum in construction of Agri link road from Mishilimi to Kipegha measuring about 5km towards Rengma area at the earliest, which was submitted by the Mishilimi village council.”
Rtd. Principal Director for Health and Family Welfare, Dr Sukhato A Sema in his short speech said that Agri-link road from Mishilimi to Tseminyu will uplift social and economic development of the people. Women cultural troupe, men Cultural troupe performed cultural show. Welcome addresss was given by VC Chairman Khulu Wotsa.
