Reading a book, kneeling on a mat to pray, and looking out a window to see nature are all very philosophical in words, but if they are manifested in their true sense, life will be blessed. Let us keep a favorite book close to our hearts on World Book Day.
To access the world of legends, books are the best entry point.
Every mind is a world, and we must live humanitarian lives in this world. Let us not read for pleasure, but for constructive thoughts, since who knows, your word might just alter the world. A sword is never more powerful than a pen.
On April 23, 1995, UNESCO established World Book Day as a global celebration of books and reading, with the goal of encouraging young people to discover the joy of reading.
The date is significant because it commemorates the deaths of two of the world's greatest writers: William Shakespeare and Inca Garcilaso de la Vega, a well-known Spanish chronicler.
World Book Day, which is organized by the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), aims to encourage people to read for enjoyment starting in childhood and to encourage more people to write and publish their work.
In the year 2022, the United Nations will commemorate World Book Day. Every year on April 23, World Book and Copyright Day, also known as World Book Day, is commemorated to honour the great works of authors from all around the world.
The United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has designated this special day to encourage people to read, write books, translate, publish, and protect their intellectual property.
On this auspicious day, let us hear the words of legends;
“All you need to know is the location of the library." Albert Einstein
"No companion is as devoted as a book." Ernest Hemingway
"The ideal life consists of excellent companions, good reading, and a drowsy conscience." Twain, Mark.
Toni Morrison puts a challenge in front of each reader;
“If you want to read a book but it hasn't been written yet, then you must write it.”
