28 Assam Rifles of 9 Sector under HQ IGAR (South) organized the Borchand Singh Memorial Manipur University Inter College Football Tournament (Women) 2011-12” in conjunction with Manipur college on 07 Oct 2011 at Pishumlampak Ground near Singjamei. The tournament was inaugurated, Commander 9 Sector AR. A total of seven teams are participating in the tournament which will end on 10 Oct 11.Such efforts which will go a long way in building a friendly relationship and ushering an era of lasting peace through sports was appreciated by all participants and spectators.
