Dimapur, November 9 (MExN): Final round of inter CAPF debate competition on Human Rights was held at ARTC&S, Dimapur on November 9. The competition conducted through webinar had eight participants in each category of Hindi and English.
A press release stated here that the AR team won the running trophy. In the individual prize category Insp/Exe Kapil Kumar Arya from CISF got first, Rfn/GD RL Yadav from Assam Rifles got second and Rfw/GD Raziya Bano from Assam Rifles got third prize in the Hindi Section. In the English Section, Capt Ashwin SP from Assam Rifles won the First prize, AC/Exe Amit J from the CISF got second and AC/Exe PS Shreejith from CISF got third position.
The competition was coordinated and presented by Col BS Madhok on behalf of Assam Rifles. It was organized under the aegis of National Human Rights Commission, New Delhi and Senior Officers of the Commission were also present during the debate.
Justice MM Kumar, Member NHRC, Rajesh Ranjan, IPS (Retired) and Prof (Dr) Ranbir Singh, Professor of Eminence were the jury members of the event. Lt Gen P C Nair, AVSM, YSM, DG Assam Rifles was virtually present while Major General DK Singh, SM, Additional DG Assam Rifles and Brigadier Suresh Kumar Sheoran, YSM, SM, Commandant, ARTC & S also attended the event in Delhi.
