Peren, October 11 (MExN): On occasion of International Day of Girl Child, the Ahthibung Region Club has decided to assist an 'underprivileged' girl student with her fees, books and uniform for the current academic year.
According to a press release received on Sunday, the ARC noted that the pandemic has impacted the economy in such a way that many parents are unable to afford basic fees and expenses for their children or buy devices for online classes.
The ARC came to know about a similar situation and came forward to bear the academic expenses of a class 11 student for this year, the release stated.
