Kohima, May 14 (MExN): Assessment camps for children with special needs in the age group of 6 to 18 years will be held from May 16 to 22 in ten districts. The programme is being organised by Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan/Samagra Shiksha, Nagaland Education Mission Society in collaboration with Department of Health and Family Welfare, Star Key New Delhi and Nagaland Research Rehabilitation Centre (NRRC) Dimapur, Department of Social Welfare.
Special children in need of aids and appliances have been requested to attend the assessment camps on the dates and venue mentioned. For hearing impaired children hearing aids will be provided on the spot. For other disabilities, assistive devices will be provided under Samagra Shiksha after completion of the assessment camp.
