Kohima, March 20 (MExN): The District Mission Authority (DMA) Samagra Shiksha, Kohima under the aegis of Nagaland Education Mission Society informed that an assessment camp for Children with Special Needs (CwSN) for both schooling & non-schooling will be held in convergence with the medical department, Soundbeats Pvt Ltd East Delhi and TPORC Imphal from March 24-26.
It will be conducted at EBRC Chiephobozou Hall on March 24, EBRC Tseminyu hall on March 25 and schools under L Khel (DEO Kohima, conference hall), EBRC Viswema hall and EBRC Sechü-Zubza hall on March 26 from 10:00 AM onwards.
Categories for assessment includes visually impaired, hearing impaired and locomotor impaired.
CwSN in the age group of 6-18 would be assessed for both school enrolled and home based.
CwSN have been informed to produce copies of Aadhar card, bank passbook and disability certificate (if available) on the day of assessment camp.
For severely disabled CwSN, parents or guardians may produce disability certificate/photograph of CwSN.
CwSN have been requested to come with their parents or guardians for the assessment.
