Kiphire, May 21 (MExN): The assessment camp under ADIP & RVY Scheme, Government of India, and in association with District Administration, Kiphire was held on May 16, 17, and 19 at Kiphire Civil Hospital. 

A DIPR report stated that during the camp, divyangjan and senior citizens were identified for various products such as wheelchairs, smart cane, hearing aid, smartphone and MSIED KIT for locomotor disability, visually impaired, hearing impaired persons. 

The Deputy Commissioner, Kiphire T Wati Aier, and CMO distributed the aids and appliances to 5O identified beneficiaries at Hopongkyu Memorial hall on May 19.

Union Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment (MoSJE) Dr Virendra Kumar could not attend function for distribution of aids and appliances to the identified under ADIP and RVY Scheme as scheduled on May 19 due to bad weather conditions. Therefore, the distribution was held through video conference in presence of Union Minister of MoSJE, Dr Virendra Kumar to the beneficiaries at DC’s Conference hall, Kiphire on May 20.
