Dimapur, January 25 (MExN): The Ao Senso Telongjem Dimapur (ASTD) today reiterated to stand in solidarity with the Nagaland Foothills Road Coordination Committee (NFHRCC) for construction of the foothill road. ASTD, President, Meren Longchar and General Secretary, P Sashi Longchar in a statement appreciated the NFHRCC for working fervently since 2013. Meanwhile, ASTD has appealed the NFHRCC to accord utmost priority in constructing the road and to pursue the matter with the Government of India, MORTH and CAI to declare the foothill road as a National Highway which is under process since October 2020.
