Peren, October 9 (MExN): A semi-auto analyzer machine for the entire Athibung block was inaugurated at Primary Health Centre (PHC) Athibung Town on October 9 by Advisor to Water Resources Department, Namri Nchang.
Speaking at the inaugural programme, the Advisor lauded the medical staff of PHC Athibung for working relentlessly for the welfare of the public.
He requested the members to cooperate with the medical staff stationed at Athibung Town for proper use of the installed machine and to contribute with whatever they can afford for the minimum cost of the machine check up rate regulated by MO in charge for general public in Athibung.
Namri also asserted that despite shortage of work force, experts and medical equipment, they have been trying to make the best of available resources to provide best health care services to the public. He also appealed to the medical staff to rededicate themselves and cater to the needs of the people.
The Medical Department and District Administration also thanked the Advisor for his financial and physical assistance.
The Advisor was accompanied by district administration officials headed by Deputy Commissioner Peren, Sentiwapang Aier, medical department officials and Police headed by OC Athibung.
Earlier the program was chaired by Temsumenla Kipgen, BPM, Athibung Block while DC Peren, Sentiwapang Aier, Dr Supongmenla Walling, DTO, RNTCP, L L Kuki, President Kuki INPI and Dr Thangmang Thomsong, MO I/C Athibung PHC delivered short speeches.
Dedicatory prayer was pronounced by Rev K Singsit and vote of thanks was delivered by Legit Singson, vice chairman Athibung Town.
