Wokha, February 7 (MExN): Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) Wokha Chukitong block conducted a programme on ‘demonstration on use of maize sheller’ at Nungying on January 29.
Resource person Zachamo, Assistant Technology Manager (ATM) demonstrated on the use of maize sheller and also told them of the advantage of using maize sheller because of its portability and less time consumption. Seeds of Coriander were distributed to the SHG members. Maize sheller was contributed by KVK, Wokha to the SHG members.
Altogether 15SHG members, four ATMA officials and BTT convener attended the Programme
On February 1, ATMA Wokha Chukitong block conducted a programme on ‘demonstration on use of maize sheller’ and ‘demonstration on use of groundnut decorticator’ at Tsungiki.
Resource person Zuthunglo, BTT convener, demonstrated on the use of maize sheller and groundnut decorticator. She also told them of the advantage of using maize sheller and groundnut decorticator because it takes less time and it requires less labour and it is portable. Seeds of Coriander and common beans were distributed to the SHG members.
Maize sheller and groundnut decorticator was contributed by KVK, Wokha to the SHG members.
Altogether 19SHG members, four ATMA officials and BTT convener attended the programme.
