Dimapur, March 16 (MExN): ATMA Dimapur organised within state farmers training on ‘Integrated Farming System (IFS)’ at KVK (ICAR) Jalukie, Peren on March 9.
The programme was chaired by Neneem, ATM ATMA Dimapur where as the welcome address was delivered by Dr K L Meena, Pr Scientist and Head KVK (ICAR) Jalukie, Peren. In his address he welcomed the farmers and gave a brief presentation on Integrated Farming System Approach.
The farmers were trained by Dr Patu K Zeliang ACTO, KVK Peren on the topic ‘Package of practices of King Chilly Cultivation’ and Z James Kikon ACTO, KVK Peren on the topic ‘Soil Health Management in IFS.’
All together 15 farmers from Sochunoma, Zhuikhu, Molvon and Tsuuma attended the training programme. Vote of thanks was delivered by Rovizelhou Kuotsu, ATM, ATMA Dimapur. The training was followed by farmer scientist interaction to clear doubts of the framers.
